Carter Sod Farm is a family owned and operated business! We have been in business in the Wetumpka area for almost 50 years. We proudly serve Central Alabama with quality turfgrass sales and installation. Carter Sod Farm grows multiple types of warm season grasses including Tifton 419 Bermudagrass, Centipede grass and Emerald Zoysia. Carter Sod Farm is run by three generations of the Carter family. Carter Sod Farm began growing bermudagrass in 1972 in Elmore AL on a small 5 acre field. We have now grown to three fields growing Tifton 419, Centipede grass and Emerald Zoysia.
